The JABU football league organised by the Students Union which was suspended on November 28th 2023 due to irregularities in the registration process of teams has now been resumed after series of deliberations between the university management, students affairs office and the Students Union.
Irregularities found in the registration of players, amongst other issues that include but not limited to a clash between players of Powerful FC and a member of staff resulted in the Powerful FC team being disbanded, and the league suspended. After a series of meetings between the Students union, Students Affairs office and Management, the league has been approved to continue after the conclusion of the official registration of Fusion FC, Iconic FC, FC Strikeback and Soccer Aid FC under the Students Affairs office. This implies that the above listed teams now have an official and permanent membership in the league under the school’s administration, and can ensure continuity till further notice. The league resumes on Tuesday, April 30th and the fixtures are featured below.

We urge all teams to comply with university rules as well as the rules guiding the league for the rest of the competition.
