EXAM! TIPS ON HOW TO SURVIVE THE STRESS OF STUDYING.

The long awaited examination period is finally here and I know many students like myself wish we could just swear a oath of understanding and move on to the next semester but sadly that’s not the case.

In the spirit of examination I would like to give you tips on how to survive the stress and hassle of studying rigorously. Let’s get right into it

Step 1: Have a plan for studying. Those who have no plans automatically plan to fail. You should have a plan for each study session, how many courses am I studying today?, how many topics,how long do I intend studying for?, where do I want to read? Etc.

Step 2: Stay Hydrated. Hydration is key especially with the weather these days. Drinking water helps you feel relaxed and can help you assimilate better.

Step 3: Eat Healthy. This is the time for you to cut down on your spaghetti and rice routine and introduce more fruits into the system. An apple a day remember keeps the doctor away.

Step 4: Sleep well. Yes , sleep because your body needs it , you can’t deprive yourself of sleep and expect to be highly productive. If you don’t sleep in the hostel, you might sleep on your exam paper, so it’s best you sleep well.

Step 5: Unwind. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy remember. In between your break period you could watch a comedy video,listen to music or have a belly laugh conversation with your favorite people. This would help you ease out stress and be more comfortable.

Step 6: Include the God Factor. This is a no brainier. Commit all your plans unto the hands of God , work out your part and let him do his because faith without works is dead.
